Liz is a New Orleans native. She attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she graduated at the top of her family law courses, and even won a scholarship for her work with Loyola's Family Law Clinic from the Association of Women Attorneys. She still gives back to her alma mater, leading classes on divorce law for Loyola students. She is a frequent speaker on family law topics for the Louisiana State Bar Association, and has been quoted as an expert in family law in local and out of state media. Liz is the mother of a young son, but in spite of her busy professional life and Mom pursuits, she still has time for fun, supporting community events, the arts and dancing with The Muff-a-Lottas in carnival parades. She also has for nearly two decades hosted an all vinyl modern jazz program on WWOZ, community radio in New Orleans.
